'Sinners' trailer teases Michael B. Jordan fighting evil

“You keep dancing with the devil, one day he’s going to follow you home.”

This is the ominous warning uttered within Sinners, the latest collaboration between Academy Award-nominated writer/director Ryan Coogler and critically heralded actor Michael B. Jordan. The two have previously worked together on such outstanding films as Black Panther and Creed. So based on that alone, we’re already seated. But Warner Bros. has released one fiery trailer for their latest work, and it’s haunting all on its own.

In Sinners, Michael B. Jordan stars as twins, who try to escape their troubled lives by returning to their hometown. But once there, they find a horrid evil has taken root. Time to bring out the big guns.

Joining Jordan onscreen are Hailee Steinfeld (Hawkeye), Jack O’Connell (Ferrari), Wunmi Mosaku (Passenger), Jayme Lawson (The Woman King), Omar Benson Miller (True Lies) and Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods). And re-teaming with Coogler behind the scenes are his Black Panther collaborators: director of photography Autumn Durald Arkapaw, Oscar-winning production designer Hannah Beachler, editor Michael P. Shawver, Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson, and Oscar-winning costume designer Ruth E. Carter.
